Daniel, like his brother Stephen, is no stranger to celebrating important milestones around the table. With Italian food as the heartbeat of family gatherings, Daniel developed an affinity for quality eats and good company. Mealtime meant delicious cuisine, and Sunday dinners were taken seriously.
A successful contractor and designer by profession, Daniel has dedicated himself to a variety of projects throughout the years. But it is his passion for food and wine that was the catalyst for Daniel’s jump into the service industry.
And while this isn’t the first restaurant he has opened, he is the most excited about it. His experiences have only awakened a passion for sharing a small piece of what he felt around a kitchen table growing up in a family of twelve.
When the opportunity arose to help create the setting that defines Osteria Umbra, Daniel was thrilled. The prospect of converting the experiences, both professional and personal, he gained during his time in the service industry is a welcomed task.
Daniel is excited to open an establishment that embodies both authentic Umbrian and Italian cuisine. He hopes to capture the details, both small and large, to make Osteria Umbra a place to gather.
